Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures that sanitation meets or exceeds standards (Client, Health Department and Company.)
• Prepares food for the customers
• Ordering Food and Counting Inventory
• Ensures proper food handling and storage techniques are followed
• Maintains high staff morale at all times by setting a positive example
• Performing each task in a safe manner using equipment provided, following instructions and established procedures
• Reporting all injuries and hazardous conditions to management immediately
• Other tasks, duties and assignments as directed by the manager.
• During slow season, wash dishes and cleaning duties.
• Daily soup/ sandwich specials, Weekend specials.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Red Seal preffered
• Serve it right and Cooks papers and/or recent related cooks experience working in a retail environment
• Food Safe certificate I
• Demonstrated Customer Service experience
• English proficiency, verbal and written
• Experience preparing meals in a high volume environment
• Have the ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Experience in Breakfast cookery, 1 year
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
