Job Description

Manages the Canadian business to meet sales revenue and gross profit income targets for the region. Leads activity in Canada coordinating activities with customers and internal personnel.

Commercial

• Manages and optimize all aspects of the regional sales performance
• Directly manage specific customer accounts
• Directly manage distribution, sales agency and consultancy agreements
• Support sales team with customer visits and presentations as requested
• Participates in Americas Business Team meetings
• Develops necessary standards and KPIs for sales team
• Provides effective leadership and support to ensure that all direct and indirect reports are coached, developed and supported in achieving agreed targets, and fulfil their potential.

Technical

• Determine the CTS, R&D needs for the region.
• Ensure the regulatory requirements of Canada are met
• Combine technical resources with sales resources when required
• Participate in CTS and R&D meetings as required

Operations

• Work with Canada supply manager to ensure regional performance
• Assist in consignment inventory to minimize inventory exposure and variances
• Oversee the supply chain service delivery for the region, with emphasis on OTIF, customer service and financial targets
• Help drive out costs in all aspects of the regional supply chain without compromising performance

Compliance

• Ensure all region staff, customers, 3rd party partners adhere to Innospec legal and compliance requirements
