Job Description

OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Our client has been a leading supplier to the graphic, sign and display industry. With 9 distribution centers across Canada, this market leader focuses on best-in-class service and having dependable and knowledgeable staff. If you are an excellent communicator, proven success in business development and thrive in a fast-paced environment then this might be the opportunity you have been looking for. Our client is adding an Outside Sales professional to their team in Calgary. If you are confident in what you bring to the table, this is an excellent career opportunity.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Achieve Sales revenue, volume and distribution objectives and targets
• Service existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new business opportunities
• Introduce new products to existing and prospective customers
• Keep management informed of competitive environment and market conditions
• Attend and present at meetings and functions/events and active participation in trade shows
• Develop marketing strategies and tactics, and perform product demonstrations

What We’re Looking For Includes:

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years sales/customer service experience
• Consultative selling skills, exceptional business development aptitude
• Relationship-based sales style with strong questioning skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a solid customer service focus
• Extremely good working in a close team environment
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Experience in print, graphics, signage or plastics is preferred
