We specialize in award-winning whiskies, gins, and eclectic spirits, serving them up in a lounge that’s equal parts sophisticated and approachable. We aren't looking for just a server—we’re looking for a storyteller who can bridge the gap between our production floor and the glass in a guest's hand.
The Role
As a Server in our distillery lounge, you’ll be responsible for providing an exceptional hospitality experience, managing a busy floor, and driving bottle sales by educating guests on our unique lineup.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Spirituous Service: Provide attentive service to guests, guiding them through our cocktail menu, spirits, and seasonal features.
Bottle Sales & Education: Confidently explain our distillation process and flavour profiles to encourage on-site bottle purchases. You should be as comfortable selling a bottle of Prospector Rye as you are serving a cocktail.
Event Promotion: Actively promote upcoming distillery events, spirit launches, and workshops to guests to build our community.
Lounge Logistics: Handle opening/closing duties, manage POS transactions, and maintain a pristine, welcoming environment.
Brand Advocacy: Stay up-to-date on our rotating "Oddities" and limited-release spirits to provide a "behind-the-scenes" feel for every visitor.
What You Bring
Experience: At least 2 years of serving experience and bartending is an asset.
The "Host" Mentality: You possess a natural ability to make people feel at home. You’re proactive, warm, and calm under pressure.
Spirits Knowledge: A genuine passion for craft spirits and the distillation process.
Sales Savvy: You know how to close a bottle sale without being "pushy"—it’s about matching the right spirit to the right person.
Availability: Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts, including evenings.
Credentials: Valid Serving It Right certification is mandatory and Food Safe is a plus.
