Job Description

About Us: At Richmond Street Warehouse in London, ON, our General Managers is the driving force behind the success of our restaurant. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store while creating an environment where both staff and guests feel valued, supported, and part of the team

 

The role is responsible for: Richmond Street Warehouse General Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the store. The role is to ensure both staff and guests are the top priority and leave each day feeling appreciated and part of the team.

 

Main Duties:

  • Hires and trains staff.
  • Performance management of all staff.
  • Ensures customer service standards are maintained by teaching staff how we do the right thing by recognizing mistakes and taking steps to correct them, engaging guests and creating relationships.
  • Overall management of the venue which includes hiring for fit, proactive hiring, new hire administration, accounting administration, cost controls, labour cost, KPI tracking, inventory and cash management.
  • Manages and oversees the FOH/BOH labour targets and scheduling.
  • Weekly sales forecast reported to Regional Manager and discussed in weekly manager meeting.
  • Manages repair and maintenance of the store within budgets.
  • Manages and tracks the QSA, Spill and Void tabs

Reporting to the Regional Manager

Requirements: 

Knowledge I must have:

  • A strong working knowledge of Ontario liquor licensing laws and Health and Safety regulations, General understanding of store performance targets

Skills I must have:

  • Conflict resolution for customer and employee complaints, Open communication, Problem solving 

Ability I have:

  • I have demonstrated the ability to coach and train staff while maintaining a strong focus on delivering excellent guest experience.
