Job Description

Position Summary

The Finance Manager provides a sound fiscal management in the operation of all financial and accounting matters, including the development and management of the school budget, and the daily operations of accounts receivable and payable.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Establish, improve and optimize financial management statements according to operational management needs;
  • Establish revenue and cost analysis models, track the progress of business operation regularly, analyze the reasons for deviation, reasonably control the school’s overall revenues and profit completion rate; assist and guide business departments in achieving performance goals;
  • Establish and optimize a multi-dimensional financial analysis and business analysis models within the school; construct operational analysis systems and cost budget systems, outline financial analysis logic and criteria, collaborate with business departments to enhance internal resource efficiency and cost control;
  • Analyze the main driving indicators of the business, conduct regular operational activity analyses, and submit operational analysis reports;
  • Assist in formulating effective product pricing and sales strategies, aid in designing and optimizing sales incentive mechanisms;
  • Enhance the school's market competitiveness and expand sales channels while improving the stakeholders' sense of achievement, thereby promoting school performance;
  • Collaborate with the HR team to establish a reasonable employee performance evaluation system, track and evaluate operational efficiency for each position, and enhance school performance;
  • Participate in discussions and execution of significant business cooperation opportunities, establish and optimize cooperation models, and analyze financial opportunities and financial risks;
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews of NOIC and Beijing Luoyi, identifying and controlling financial risks;
  • Design and optimize investment cooperation structure for real estate crowdfunding projects, design corresponding cooperation models and pricing strategies based on different investor preferences; coordinate the resources of all parties and promote project progress;
  • Provide support to the senior management to ensure the improvement of Royal Prime Group’s financial performance.

Accounting Management

  • Develop, update and review Accounting SOP and ERP system including necessary policies and procedures, to ensure an efficient and effective daily accounting operations;
  • Develop and improve various financial reports and KPIs;
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports, and analyzing financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CEO’s attention;
  • Analyzing costs, financial and tax risks and developing solutions and recommendations in the development of business;
  • Full cycle accounting, including but not limit to, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, reconciling balance sheet, assisting with general ledger accounts, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned;
  • Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure;
  • Evaluating and monitoring budget proposals for the company and creating long-term projections based on departmental needs and upcoming capital projects;
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team for corporate financing;
  • Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned

Supervisory and Communication Duties

  • Provide supervision to the team to ensure smooth, effective and efficient daily financial operations;
  • Liaise with the finance team from the counterpart office in Beijing to ensure of compliance and alignment of accounting practice;
  • Provide ad hoc support for School’s activities upon request.

Position Requirements

Academic & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Financial/Accounting Management
  • Qualified CPA in Canada is a must
  • At least five years in financial management at corporate level
  • Experienced in full-set of accounting management and supervise a small team

Knowledge & Competency Requirements

  • Strong data analysis skills with high accuracy
  • Detail-oriented and strong commitment in meeting deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills in different analysis report for senior management’s decision
  • Strong sense in risk assessment and crisis management
