Job Description

Floor Supervisor (Front of House)

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Restaurant: Louf

Full time position 

44/hrs per week 

$23/hr + tips 

Louf is a modern Palestinian restaurant in Toronto focused on warm hospitality, community, and excellent service. We’re looking for a skilled Floor Supervisor (FOH) to help lead our growing team.

Role Overview

The Floor Supervisor supports the daily front-of-house operations, ensures smooth service, leads staff, and upholds Louf’s high standards of guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee FOH team during service and support training
• Lead pre-shift meetings and assign sections
• Maintain strong guest experience standards and resolve issues with care
• Monitor service flow and support hosts/servers/bartenders
• Coordinate with BOH for seamless communication
• Beverage inventory management
• FOH inventory management (supplies, equipment, tools)
• Scheduling all FOH team members
• Upkeep, organization, and cleanliness of FOH areas
• Bar skills, bartender support, and training new bar staff
• Cash-outs and end-of-day operational duties
• Ensure compliance with health & safety guidelines

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a supervisory or lead server role
• Strong communication and leadership ability
• Proficiency with:
• Microsoft Office
• OpenTable
• TouchBistro
• Adobe InDesign
• Understanding of bar operations and beverage systems
• Organized, reliable, and able to stay calm under pressure
• Availability for evenings and weekends
