Resraurant Sales & Events Coordinator


louf is growing, and we would love for you to join our team! louf is seeking a highly driven Sales & Events Coordinator to take ownership of group dining, private events, catering and reservations-driven revenue.

This role is ideal for someone who is a natural at relationship building and securing outbound sales. You will work closely with the General Manager and Head Chef and play a critical role in louf’s hospitality services growth.

Pay is commensurate with experience and performance - minimum $23/hr base salary plus commission on all parties of 6+ guests and events sourced through the employee’s own outreach.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Sales Expectations

· Own group dining, event, and reservations-driven revenue

· Graduated monthly revenue target

· Track and report weekly on generated leads, conversion rates, average booking size, event and group dining revenue

· Prepare and present weekly sales and pipeline reports

 

Sales and Outreach Development:

· Prospecting and pursuing new catering and events sales leads

· Creating and delivering sales presentations and proposals

· Developing and implementing sales strategies

· Preparing sales reports and forecasts

· Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients

· Responding to inquiries, providing quotes, and negotiating contracts

· Conducting off/on-site meetings and tastings with prospective clients

 

Event Planning and Coordination:

· Working with clients to understand their event needs

· Working with clients and our Head Chef to coordinate menu selection and logistics

· Collaborating with BOH/FOH to ensure seamless event execution

· Coordinating all aspects of the event, from setup to breakdown

· Overseeing event budgets and managing expenses

· Communicating event details clearly and concisely to all relevant parties

 

Client Relationship Management:

· Providing exceptional service form planning through to the event itself

· Building rapport with clients and ensuring their satisfaction

· Handling client feedback and resolving any issues that may arise

· Maintaining ongoing relations with clients to foster repeat business

 

Collaboration and Communication:

· Working effectively with various internal teams, including culinary, beverage, service, and operations

· Leading outreach meetings and contributing to team discussions

 

Skills and Qualifications:

· 2+ years of experience in hospitality events sales, coordination and outreach

· Sales and negotiation: proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and create experiences for clients

· Customer service: excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong client relationships

· Event planning and coordination: experience in planning and executing events, including logistics, catering, and staffing

· Organization and time management: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

· Problem-solving: ability to identify and resolve issues with a positive, professional approach

· Computer literacy: event management software, working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and other tools

· Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven

· Comfortable working toward revenue targets and KPIs

· Can legally work in Canada

 

Success in This Role

· Consistent growth in event and group dining revenue

· Strong outbound lead generation and follow-through

· Clear contribution toward the monthly revenue target
