Restaurant Manager (Bar & Maître’d Oversight)
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team and oversee daily operations of both the dining room and bar, working directly under the Owner. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a hands-on, guest-focused environment and can balance leadership, organization, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
• Oversee front-of-house operations, including both dining room service and bar management
• Act as maître’d: greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth service flow
• Supervise bar operations: maintain standards of quality, oversee beverage program, manage inventory and staff training
• Lead, train, and motivate FOH team to deliver exceptional customer service
• Work closely with the Owner on strategic initiatives, staffing, scheduling, and service standards
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all regulations
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency
• Support financial goals through labor management, cost controls, and revenue growth
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a restaurant manager, in upscale dining.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a hands-on management style
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of bar operations, wine, and beverage programs a strong plus
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality
