Job Description

🔥 About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and skilled kitchen team member to join our growing restaurant, Sushi at Bloom. This role focuses on preparing and cooking Japanese hot dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency in every plate.

🍜 Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Japanese hot food items including (but not limited to):
• Tempura
• Teriyaki dishes
• Udon and other hot menu items
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion consistency
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with prep work (cutting, portioning, sauces, etc.)
• Work efficiently during busy service hours as part of a team

✅ Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience required (Japanese cuisine experience preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with tempura frying techniques
• Familiarity with Japanese sauces and hot menu preparation
• Experience working in a sushi or Japanese restaurant
