Job Description

Introduction

Our client is a recognized leader in the food & beverage industry. As a Key Account Manager in their retail segment, you'll manage current business and identify growth opportunities within the assigned key account(s). Reporting to the Director of Sales, you'll monitor account profitability, plan for strategic growth, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer buying teams on bids for current and new business opportunities.
  • Initiate, plan, and lead initiatives with customers and suppliers to create sales opportunities.
  • Manage the new product launch process, setting deadlines, outlining project scope, and being the main point of contact.
  • Provide account performance reports and recommend action points to the management team.
  • Monitor program profits and losses, identify improvement opportunities, and work with cross-functional teams to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor account performance, proactively identify and resolve issues, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure account objectives are met.

Requirements

  • Five years of account management experience.
  • Experience in the Food Industry.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced English.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $80K.
  • Annual discretionary bonus plan.
