Summary
The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge is located at the Pier Hotel at the Pier (North Vancouver) just steps away from Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver Historic Shipyard district.
We are looking for an experienced full time bartender and lounge server for 3-5 shifts a week, including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
You are outgoing, friendly and professional, with meticulous attention to detail and a track record of going above and beyond for your guests. Duties
Provide excellent guest service in the Lobby Lounge
Take and serve food and beverages orders
Prepare all beverages for the restaurant and private dining
Set up and tearing down the bar and lounge tables
Record sales accurately in Micros Simphony P.O.S. system
Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations and legislation.
Work safely at all times.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation to the Hotel safety program.
Be health and safety conscious and involved in maintaining a safe work environment
Complies with Pinnacle Hotel policies and code of ethics
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Must have “Serving It Right” certificate
Previous experience both Server and Bartender (Min. 2 years)
Ability to handle high volume of business
WSET and/or mixology certifications considered assets
Must be well self-motivated, responsible, organized
Have excellent communication and guest services skills
Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands:
Lifting – under 20 lbs
Carrying – over 20 lbs
Pulling – over 20 lbs – bending, standing, reaching and kneeling.
