Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily restaurant operations with a focus on efficiency, accountability, and service consistency.
• Manage recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a disciplined team.
• Control costs and achieve budget targets through tight oversight of inventory, payroll, and labour management.
• Implement and enforce operational procedures, including menu setup, pricing, coursing, and POS (Micros) programming.
• Uphold strict compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Lead guest relations by resolving concerns directly, ensuring service recovery, and maintaining brand standards.
• Drive revenue through focused upselling of wine, beverages, and premium add-ons to enhance the guest experience.
• Support menu development and operational adjustments as required.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Restaurant Service Manager.
• Comprehensive understanding of restaurant financials, labour control, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, discipline, and motivate a diverse team in a demanding environment.
• Strong command of English with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work long, irregular hours including early mornings, weekends, and late evenings.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and uncompromising when it comes to operational standards.
• Hotel catering experience with booking events from start to finish.
