Job Description

Position Overview

The Supervisor at Lonsdale Bridgedeck plays a key role in leading daily service operations, supporting the team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role bridges front-line staff and management, ensuring smooth service, strong communication, and a positive, high-energy atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and support front-of-house staff during shifts
• Set the tone for service standards, energy, and professionalism
• Assist with training 
• Step in to resolve team challenges calmly and effectively

Guest Experience

• Ensure every guest receives friendly, efficient, and memorable service
• Handle guest concerns and feedback with professionalism and care
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests

Operations

• Oversee shift execution including opening and closing duties
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health & safety standards
• Support inventory awareness and communicate stock needs

Communication

• Act as the point of contact between staff and management during shifts
• Communicate updates, priorities, and service notes clearly to the team
• Provide feedback to management on team performance and operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant supervision
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Provincial alcohol serving certification
