Located in central North Vancouver, the Lonsdale BridgeDeck is Bridge Brewing's restaurant and taproom! Serving all Bridge's great beers, BridgeDeck offers guests an elevated food menu right on the middle of Lonsdale. As the recent winner of Best New Restaurant for North Shore Reader's choice, we pride ourselves on creating the best atmosphere for our guests and team members. At BridgeDeck, our guests can expect a welcoming and casual dining experience from the best of the best in the industry and we are looking for someone new to join our team!
Most of your time will be spent providing exceptional customer service, welcoming guests, pouring samples, taking orders and serving food to guests. Prior server experience is a great asset as all our servers offer table side and counter service.
The remainder of your role will be:
· Passionately discussing beer with customers and answering questions.
· Keeping the restaurant clean and tidy.
· Complete opening and closing procedures.
Required Skills:
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Must be energetic, outgoing and wanting to put a smile on our guest's faces!
· Detail oriented and able to work in a fast pace environment.
· A "can do" attitude and be capable of solving problems on the fly.
· Experience with cash/float handling
· A love and knowledge of craft beer.
· Must be flexible with working hours and able to work late nights.
· Understanding of food handling and preparation
· Must have a valid serving it right
The position is part or full time and pays $16.75 per hour plus tips. Tips vary depending on the day of the week, weather, service level provided, and other factors. On average tips make a significant contribution to your income. We also
