Role Description
This is a contract role for a Event-Chef at SERVED Catering & Events. The role is on-site and located in Vancouver, BC. The chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, managing pantry inventory, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained. The chef will also collaborate with the team for event planning and execution, as well as menu development and presentation.
Qualifications
• Experience in food preparation and cooking techniques
• Knowledge of pantry management and inventory control
• Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Creativity in menu development and presentation
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in event catering is a plus
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is beneficial
