Job Description

Position Summary

At Vino Volo (a Paradies Lagardère Company), we create elevated wine and hospitality experiences for travelers. The Associate delivers exceptional guest service by combining wine knowledge, food expertise, and sales skills to create memorable experiences in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, efficient, and engaging customer service at all times
• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and recommend wine and food pairings
• Provide knowledgeable guidance on wine selections, flavor profiles, and pricing
• Drive sales by promoting wine flights, glasses, food pairings, and retail products
• Process orders and payments accurately using POS systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workspace
• Collaborate with team members to ensure an excellent guest experience
• Follow all service standards, safety, and alcohol compliance requirements
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
• Support operations (stocking, cleaning, seating, phone inquiries, etc.)

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and guest service
• Interest in wine and willingness to learn
• 1+ year experience in a full-service restaurant, wine bar, or similar environment
• Strong communication and sales skills
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
• Proficient with POS systems
• Serve Safe (or equivalent) certification preferred
• Must be 21+ and able to pass TSA/background screening

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working evenings or delays
• Ability to carry and serve wine flights
