Job Description

Miku Richmond is the sister restaurant to Miku Vancouver in Coal Harbour (2008), as well as Minami in Yaletown (2012). Executive Corporate Chef Kazuhiro Hayashi and Executive Chef Alan Ferrer take advantage of fresh, regional ingredients as well as Ocean Wise seafood options to showcase the best of what British Columbia has to offer. Traditional Japanese flavours and techniques are combined with local, west coast elements to create a truly unique dining experience enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Innovative desserts made in house by our pastry team create the perfect ending to the culinary experience. 

We are seeking experienced Host / Hostess to join our team at Miku Vancouver. Our Guest Services team must maintain a professional image and positive attitude, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. At Miku, the guests experience comes first, your ability to make quick decisions and prioritize tasks will be put to the test. You Have:

• Experience in a similar job role preferred. - Positive attitude, professional and formal demeanour
• Work well with a large team
•  Open availability. (Full-time/Part-time positions available, WEEKEND NIGHT AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED)
• Fluent in English, multi-language skills a bonus
• Interest in Japanese culture and cuisine beneficial
• Experience in using online reservation systems (OpenTable) also a strong asset but not required
