RUSSELL TASTING Room is Surrey’s new local hangout. It’s a non-exclusive, come as you are, food and drink forward environment that welcomes everyone from all walks of life. Come enjoy beers with your buddies or have a casual lunch with a friend; it’s a space that can transform into whatever the guest needs it to be for their personal experience. We’re here for it all: providing and being a part of a good time. At the end of the day, it’s not just about craft beer and tacos, it’s about providing a space for people to feel comfortable, be who they are, and come get some good eats and enjoy some drinks.
Russell Tasting Room will be staffed with an edgy crew that’s in the service industry because they truly love being hosts of the party.
Responsibilities
• Learn our portfolio of beers
• Understand the process of how beer is made and be able to explain the individual flavor
profiles
• Handling of cash and processing payments
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing
sauces)
• Cook menu items
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Assets & Requirements
• Experience in retail or hospitality
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
• Love for all things beer
