We are seeking a Part-Time Pastry Chef to support our culinary team with high-quality desserts and baked items that align with our brand and standards. Position Overview The Part-Time Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing, executing, and plating desserts and baked goods with consistency, creativity, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for a skilled pastry professional seeking flexible hours in a high-end, collaborative kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and execute desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to Skye Avenue standards • Assist with dessert menu execution, seasonal items, and specials • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation for all pastry items • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in the pastry station • Manage prep lists, storage, and inventory related to pastry production • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu development as required Qualifications & Experience • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Cook in a restaurant or hotel setting • Strong foundational pastry and baking skills • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper kitchen procedures • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented • Culinary training or pastry certification is an asset but not required Schedule & Compensation • Part-time hours (schedule to be discussed; evenings and/or weekends may be required) • Competitive hourly wage based on experience Why Join Skye Avenue • Work in a polished, upscale kitchen environment • Supportive leadership and collaborative culture • Opportunity to contribute creatively to a growing hospitality brand
