As a Cashier, you will accurately verify, reconcile, and process currency and chip transactions. In this Dual rate role, you will also mentor your team to ensure the smooth functioning of cashiering activities and promote a flawless guest experience. Key Responsibilities

• Count and verify opening and closing floats for all coin, currency, chips, and marketing items.
• Verifies cashier opening and closing floats, authorizes cage transactions, reconciles chips, completes reports, investigations, periodic audits and reconciliations. 
• Exchange foreign and domestic currency.
• Counts cash and value chips according to company policies and procedures.
• Records transactions in Casino Management Software and verifies printed reports.
• Supervises cashiering activities and cage operations: manages the performance of cashiers though training, coaching and feedback.

What You Bring

• Minimum of six months of cash-handling experience.
• Ability to add, multiply, and balance floats and spreadsheets.
• The ability to obtain registration with the AGCO.
• Ability to pull, lift, and carry objects such as a cashier tray and can transport a heavy cart.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Good manual dexterity to accurately handle cash, tickets, and chips.
• A friendly, polite, patient and courteous energy.
• Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests, and vendors.
• Ability to work on your feet and provide solutions quickly.
• Open to working flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
