Your New Role


In this newly established position, you'll support the Property Manager in site decommissioning, while also coordinating mechanical operations, maintenance, energy management programs, and employee development initiatives to meet our client's quality standards and property operating goals. Assisting with the supervision of building operations staff is a future objective.


What Sets You Apart


The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 5 years experience in building operations and/or hold a post-secondary diploma/certification (e.g., BES, Engineering Technology, etc.) or a trades qualification (e.g., journeyman, electrician, etc.), or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience.


Supervisory experience is required, along with the ability to meet the requirements of building operations positions.


This new position involves assisting with directing and overseeing the performance of all building maintenance, and operations. Additionally, it includes recommending appropriate staffing levels and hiring, supervising, and coordinating the activities of building operations staff while ensuring compliance with company standards within your area of responsibility, which includes HVAC, MEP, electrical, and plumbing systems.


Responding promptly and courteously to tenant requests, maintaining professional relations with contractors and tenants, and establishing cooperative working relationships with third-party service providers and your building operations staff are essential aspects of the role.


You will assist with long-term strategic planning for the property, participating in the preparation of annual budgets, overseeing daily account activities, purchasing supplies and services required within the area of responsibility, and maintaining familiarity with the property's security systems.


In the absence of the Property Manager, you will ensure that standards are maintained and assume additional responsibilities as delegated by the Property Manager.
