Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager for Colocation Power Services will help evolve our power product offerings, maximizing revenue opportunity and minimizing risk.  You will have broad responsibilities to rationalize and develop our power product catalog based on a deep understanding of customer needs and our energy risk management strategy.


This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Product Management Director.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the Colocation Power Services strategy to provide the world’s digital leaders with power infrastructure to support their growth

  • Help identify opportunities to innovate power management to maximize return on investment

  • Partner with and deeply listen to customers and field sales to identify new solutions to meet customer expectations

  • Manage and communicate the roadmap. Participate in creating a shared vision and clear goals for the product

  • Manage the backlog: Prioritize items to move forward based on an analysis of the business opportunity vs level of effort

  • Partner with UX, solution architects, and engineering teams to ideate solutions, placing a premium on user experience

  • Collaborate with product engineering, design & construction and Data Center perations to identify opportunity and risk in power solutions

  • Understand and manage stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions; Identify and proactively utilize effective methods of communication with stakeholders, varying approaches accordingly

  • Define metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements

  • Design product training curriculum; participates in cross-functional training and meetings

  • Run the business: analyze and optimize value chain activities; establish and monitor KPIs; implements course corrections as needed

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, commercial finance or similar role

  • Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, Economics, Statistics or relevant field of study, MBA preferred

  • A proven record of accomplishment in simplifying complex product pricing

  • An end-to-end understanding of metered power and/or data center industry

  • Passion for learning/mastering new technologies and bringing them together to build end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs
