Customer Service
Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming bar atmosphere
Take drink and food orders accurately
Provide recommendations based on guest preferences
Drink Preparation
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages
Follow standard drink recipes and create signature cocktails
Maintain knowledge of liquor brands, wine, beer, and cocktails
Bar Operations
Set up and break down the bar (stocking, prepping garnishes, cleaning tools)
Restock beer, liquor, mixers, ice, and other bar supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Cash Handling & POS
Open and close tabs
Process payments (cash, card, mobile pay)
Handle cash accurately and follow closing cash-out procedures
Safety & Compliance
Check IDs and verify legal drinking age
Follow alcohol service laws and prevent over-serving
Keep the bar sanitary and follow health and safety guidelines
Teamwork
Communicate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff
Support other team members during busy periods
Inventory & Reporting
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to management
Assist in inventory counts and supply ordering if required
