Senior Bartender / Bar Leader – Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
6+ years of professional bartending experience
Previous leadership or shift-lead experience in a bar, lounge, or restaurant
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, spirits, beer, and wine
Experience with inventory control, ordering, and bar cost management
Familiarity with POS systems and cash-handling procedures
Serving It Right / Food Safety / Alcohol Service certifications (as required by your region)
Skills
Excellent mixology and drink-presentation skills
Strong leadership abilities; capable of guiding and training junior bartenders
High-level customer service and hospitality skills
Ability to multitask during busy service periods
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards
Physical & Availability Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods
Able to lift items (typically up to 25–40 lbs)
Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Reliable, punctual, and professional
