We are seeking a passionate, technically skilled, and highly organized Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is an opportunity to work in a focused, high-performance kitchen environment where creativity is supported by strong fundamentals and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Execute mise en place with precision, consistency, and efficiency
Prepare, cook, and plate dishes during service according to BarChef’s culinary standards
Maintain strict portion control and presentation consistency
Operate within structured prep systems to ensure readiness for service
Work with modern techniques and contemporary plating styles to support evolving tasting menus
Contribute ideas to menu development and participate in R&D initiatives
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols
Communicate clearly with chefs and team members to ensure smooth service flow
Perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (fine dining experience preferred)
Strong knife skills and foundational cooking techniques
Understanding of timing, station management, and high-level service standards
Interest in progressive, technique-driven cuisine
Reliable, punctual, and available for evenings and weekends
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
A strong work ethic and desire to grow within a professional kitchen
