Job Description

Blue Bovine Steak + Sushi House located at 65 Front St. W. Toronto, is currently looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Host/Hostess team. If you are interested, please submit your resume.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Maintaining host stand area, ensuring organization and cleanliness at all times
-Possess a working knowledge of the venue (location, direction, events, policies etc.)
-Effectively manage guest flow to maximize seating capacity
-Know all table numbers and maintain awareness of which servers are in each section
-Communicate with Managers and FOH staff during events to maintain proper guest flow throughout the venue.
-Assist management and FOH staff in all necessary preparations and set up for events.
-Manage the guest waitlist
-Escort guests to their table
-Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

-Minimum 2+ years experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an asset
-Strong oral communication skills
-High attention to detail
-Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
-Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
-Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
-Must be legally able to work in Canada
