Job Description
The valet parking attendant is responsible for delivering a unique guest experience while parking and retrieving vehicles. The valet attendant will be directly interacting with guests and their vehicles so excellent customer service skills are a must.
Qualifications and skills
• Ability to remain upright throughout an entire shift
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests
• Ability to operate motor vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions
• Organizational skills to ensure that keys are easy to retrieve, and vehicles are simple to locate
• Ability to move quickly to reduce the wait time for guests
• Knowledge of the environment to answer guests’ questions
• Communication skills to interact with other Valet, Parking attendants and provide instructions to guests
• Ability to lift heavy objects to aid in the loading and unloading of vehicles
Requirements
• MUST have a valid G Drivers License for a minimum of 2 years
• You must be comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles
• Ability to adapt to different vehicle sizes, makes, and models.
• You must hold a clean Driver's Abstract
• Minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience
• Must be fluent in English
• Positive attitude and able to work well with others in a team-based environment
• Ability to work flexible shifts
