The primary responsibility of the Line Cook position is to ensure that all necessary menu preparations are performed daily. General knowledge of standard cooking methods and preparations of all food items. Performance of daily tasks in a timely fashion while achieving a high quality product. Must be able to handle pressure during peak business hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
The primary responsibilities of the role include:
Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and company guidelines.
Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
Exceed guest expectations at all times by providing the FAB 5 Service Training.
Support other service staff when needed to ensure the highest level of customer service standards.
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
Fully understand and comply with all health and safety requirements of the restaurant.
Arrive on time to your shift and be in correct uniform with all your tools.
Opening/Closing/Side duties, as per your restaurant guidelines.
Cross training in all service positions
Provide suggestions to Manager as needed.
Any other duties required of you by your manager or fellow associates to enhance the guest experience.
Minimum 2 years in a similar role preferred
Previous industry experience required
Valid Food Handler’s Certification
