About Café ZUZU | Gusto 54 Restaurant Group

In 1954, my father Giacomo Zuccarini opened the Sidewalk Caffè at Yonge and College in Toronto. It featured the city’s first espresso machine, first wood-burning pizza oven, and first heated patio.

Gusto 54 is a tribute to family, innovation, food, and design that respects the past while rewriting the rules.

Our values are reflected in our commitment to beauty, taste, community, and sustainability. We merge the every day with the exceptional, the culinary with the soulful.
