Job Description

We are seeking experienced, independent cooks for our seasonal restaurant located at the Queen City Yacht Club on Toronto Island.

This is a unique waterfront operation with a marina-focused menu blending Italian, Canadian, and international cuisine. The role requires strong organization, speed, and the ability to execute consistently without constant supervision.

This is a seasonal position (April to October).

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years experience in a professional kitchen
• Ability to work independently and run a station
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine with versatility across other styles
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Organized, clean, and disciplined in execution
• Reliable and punctual
• Available evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Run assigned station independently during service
• Execute dishes with consistency, accuracy, and proper portions
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation
• Support prep and service flow across stations
• Follow kitchen standards and food safety procedures
• Contribute to both restaurant service and event/banquet production
