Dishwasher
The Dishwasher ensures that all dishes, utensils, cookware and cutlery used in the cafe or restaurant are spotless.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Washing dishes, cookware, utensils and cutlery with appropriate equipment
• Ensures that dishwashing equipment reaches correct heat settings as per Board of Health requirements
• Washes and sterilizes food preparation surfaces at end of workday
• Stores cleaned items appropriately
• Keeps separate area for used items waiting to be cleaned
• Disposes of food waste appropriately
• Keeps kitchen area clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
The ideal candidate:
• High School Diploma
