The Cook prepares and cooks food, under the guidance of the Executive Chef.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Prepares and cooks all meals according to Executive Chef’s direction
• Follows all food handling, health and safety regulations
• Controls waste of food
• Works swiftly and safely to deliver quick client service
• Maintains prep and storage areas in a clean, tidy and safe manner
• Keep records of quantities used and assists with food and supplies ordering
• Ensures proper rotation of perishable stocks
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
The ideal candidate:
• High school diploma
• Culinary school graduate
• 3-5 years previous experience, excelling in a team environment
The measures of success:
• Contribution to financial objectives
• Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals
• Feedback from internal and external clients
