Our high-end steakhouse is currently seeking an experienced Host/Hostess to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, working with a team of hosts/greeters and ensuring the smooth flow of the night. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service in a professional and organized environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival and provide outstanding customer service
Manage the flow of guests through the restaurant, ensuring optimal occupancy and service
Work well with a team of hosts/greeters to provide excellent service to guests
Coordinate with the host staff to ensure timely seating of guests
Maintain accurate records of guest counts, waiting lists, and reservations
Take reservations over the phone and enter them into our system
Communicate effectively with other restaurant staff to ensure the smooth running of service
Other duties as assigned by management
Working knowledge of Open Table and/or SevenRooms is an asset.
Open for dinner Monday to Sunday
