Lai Wah Heen is an elevated 90-seat Chinese dining restaurant located in the heart of downtown Toronto inside the DoubleTree Hotel. Known for refined service, elegant design, and a deeply rooted culinary philosophy, Lai Wah Heen brings modern sophistication to traditional Chinese cuisine.
We’re seeking exceptional Servers to join our team—individuals who are polished, professional, and passionate about hospitality at the highest level. As part of the core service team, you’ll help shape one of Toronto’s standout dining experiences.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in fine dining, preferably at top restaurants in Toronto.
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with guests.
A confident storyteller who can bring dishes to life and guide guests through the menu with insight and enthusiasm.
In-depth knowledge of service standards, wine and beverage pairing, and proper pacing.
A calm, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-performance environment.
A team player with full-time availability, including evenings and weekends.
Your Role:
Deliver elevated, attentive service that reflects the standards of Lai Wah Heen.
Present and explain the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations and pairings.
Coordinate smoothly with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless service.
Maintain a polished dining room throughout service.
Take ownership of side duties and service readiness at the start and end of each shift.
