Position Overview
We’re looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our back-of-house team as a Dishwasher / Garde Manger. This hybrid position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment while assisting with the preparation and plating of cold dishes, salads, and desserts.
Responsibilities
Dishwashing & Cleaning
Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Ensure all kitchen tools, glassware, and tableware are cleaned, organized, and stored properly.
Assist in maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and cleaning surfaces and equipment.
Garde Manger Support
Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
Assemble and plate cold dishes, salads, and desserts according to restaurant standards.
Maintain mise en place and ensure ingredients are properly labeled, rotated, and stored.
Support chefs during service by replenishing items and communicating any shortages or issues.
Qualifications
Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but not required — training will be provided.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time position (approximately [15–25] hours per week).
Shifts may include evenings and weekends.
