At Lardo, we take pride in making sure our staff are all working toward the same goal - giving the guest the best experience possible, through attention to detail, and excellent service. We're looking for a hardworking, dependable, and team-oriented individual to join our back-of-house team as a Dishwasher / Garde Manger.
Responsibilities:
As Dishwasher:
Ensure all dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen tools are cleaned and sanitized efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area and kitchen
Follow health and safety standards at all times
Assist with waste disposal and recycling duties
Support kitchen staff with prep work when needed
As Garde Manger:
Prepare and plate cold dishes such as salads, antipasti, and desserts according to recipe and presentation standards
Maintain freshness and proper storage of ingredients
Assist in food prep for line cooks and chefs as required
Keep station clean, organized, and well-stocked during service
Work with the culinary team to uphold high standards of quality and consistency
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required — we’re willing to train the right candidate!
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
