Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, food prep, and menu development
Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team during service
Ensure all dishes meet quality, presentation, and timing standards
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Step in as acting Head Chef when required
Uphold and enforce food safety and cleanliness standards
Qualifications:
2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced or high-volume kitchen
Previous experience in a leadership or team lead role preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Passion for Turkish or Mediterranean cuisine is a strong asset
Positive attitude and dedication to teamwork
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Valid Food Handling Certification (required)
