NODO Liberty is Hiring Experienced Hosts
NODO is an Italian restaurant concept with four locations across Toronto: Junction, St. Clair West, Leslieville, and Liberty Village. NODO Liberty restaurant is event-driven, high-volume environments, and we are looking to grow our team.
We are currently seeking friendly, confident, and experienced Hosts to join us at NODO Liberty. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting and takes pride in creating an exceptional first impression for our guests.
As a Host, you will play a key role in managing the flow of service and ensuring every guest enjoys a smooth and welcoming dining experience.
Important:
We are specifically looking for candidates who are experienced with OpenTable and comfortable taking the lead with reservations, waitlists, and floor organization. Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming first impression
Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable
Organize seating to maximize flow and efficiency
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Maintain awareness of table availability, seating capacity, and server sections
Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs
Work closely with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service
Monitor the dining room for cleanliness and proper setup
Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
Qualifications:
Proven experience using OpenTable (required)
Previous restaurant hosting experience
Strong communication and phone etiquette
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest experience
Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with POS systems is an asset
