Job Description

Part-Time / Full-Time | In-Person | Queens Quay West, Harbourfront

You're the first taste of Pie Bar's hospitality. Before a guest even sees the waterfront or smells the pizza, they meet you. We're looking for a warm, organized Host who takes that responsibility seriously and brings great energy every shift.

What You'll Do

• Greet every guest with warmth and set the tone for an exceptional dining experience
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and the waitlist with accurate, honest wait times
• Seat guests thoughtfully while maintaining balanced server sections
• Answer calls and respond to questions about the menu, hours, reservations, and events
• Keep the host stand and entrance welcoming and organized throughout service
• Communicate proactively with servers and management about table availability and pacing
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude

What We're Looking For

• Previous hosting or front-of-house experience is an asset
• Friendly, polished, and confident communicator
• Able to manage multiple moving parts calmly during busy Harbourfront service
• Comfortable standing and engaging throughout full shifts
• Available evenings, weekends, and during peak patio season
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
