Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, positive and creative individual to assist in the overseeing and execution of the day-to-day operations of our front of house and beverage program. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for cocktail innovation, strong organizational skills, and leadership experience in bar management - particularly with knowledge and passion for grain-based spirits. You will be involved with everything from scheduling and inventory to menu development and staff training, ensuring a high-quality and consistent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Standards and Best Practices
Assist GM with development and maintenance of service standards, guest engagement practices, cleanliness and product knowledge dissemination for guests and staff
Scheduling & Staffing
Create and manage the weekly staff schedule to ensure optimal coverage and service.
Assist in hiring initiatives, onboarding processes, and ongoing staff development.
Provide consistent coaching, training, and support to nurture team growth and performance.
Procurement & Inventory
Oversee purchasing of goods, including sourcing and item pick-up as necessary.
Conduct monthly inventory audits, report discrepancies, and submit findings to the accounting team.
Maintain and monitor budget markers, identifying and reporting on any variances.
Menu Development & Launch
Coach and assist the bar team in cocktail development and ideation for seasonal menus, food pairings, and events
Execute cocktail menu rollouts, including creation of bar bibles, allergen lists, and service strategy.
Collaborate with marketing and kitchen teams to align beverage offerings with overall brand identity
Technology & System Management
Manage the back end of the POS systems, including menu updates, inventory tools, and reporting functions, as well as various other communication and operations platforms
Experiences and Events
Lead and host tours, tastings, and private cocktail workshops that align with brand standards.
Ensure exceptional guest experience through well-curated, bespoke, educational, and engaging events ranging from corporate meetings to weddings
Retail Oversight
Show exceptional product knowledge and hospitality practices for our retail offerings
Maintain retail areas, ensuring cleanliness, stock levels, and merchandising standards are consistently met.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in bar or beverage program management.
Proven experience in cocktail creation and menu development.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in TouchBistro, Microsoft 365, or similar systems.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with inventory control, budget reporting, and vendor relationships.
Ability to lift and transport inventory as needed.
