Position: Seasonal Loss Prevention Associate
Employment Type: Seasonal Full-Time (November-December 31)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and observant Seasonal Loss Prevention Associate to join our retail team during our busiest season. The role focuses on protecting company assets, reducing theft, and ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and interact with customers in a professional, customer-first manner to deter theft through strong presence.
Monitor the entrance/exit and sales floor activity to identify potential theft or policy violations.
Assist in incident response, including completing reports and working with store leadership if theft or other security incidents occur.
Support overall store safety by identifying hazards and following emergency procedures.
Collaborate with store associates to ensure merchandise protection standards (tags, locks, displays) are in place.
Monitor for customers attempting to leave the premises with alcoholic beverages, ensuring full compliance with liquor license requirements.
Qualifications
Previous retail, security, or loss prevention experience preferred but not required.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible schedule, must be available to work evenings and weekends from Nov-Dec 31.
Note: This is a seasonal role, but there is an opportunity to continue on if there is a mutual fit.

Today our flagship gallery features a high-end coffee offering, ARENA Coffee Bar, developed in partnership with Toronto's Pilot Coffee Roasters, and serving as a comfortable space to watch a game, sport documentary, and enjoy a great cup of coffee or specialty beer from Toronto's Left Field Brewery. Our Toronto gallery also doubles as an event space, with large fully automatic pull-out bleacher seating. We frequently feature SPORTTalks, SPORT Trivia nights, and games on the big screen.
