Job Description

BAMBAM is a hospitality-led, specialty coffee company founded by baristas, chefs, and creatives who give a damn. We believe in crafting intentional spaces, building real community, and cultivating a culture rooted in care, curiosity, and excellence.
Our team is driven by purpose and powered by people. We’re not just serving coffee, sling pastries and burgers—we’re creating experiences that bring people together and raise the bar for what hospitality can be.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for dynamic leaders—either an Assistant Manager / Floor Lead, depending on experience—who can elevate daily operations, strengthen team culture, and refine the guest experience.
This is not a start-up. This is a high-functioning space with a passionate team and an engaged community. We’re looking for someone ready to step into a leadership role that’s equal parts operational excellence, people development, and cultural stewardship.

What You’ll Do
As a leader at BAMBAM, you will:
Lead from the Front: Set the tone for energy, hospitality, and service on every shift
Inspire & Mentor: Support your team’s growth through coaching, training, and honest feedback
Build & Maintain Culture: Create a respectful, positive, and accountable work environment
Drive Operational Excellence: Manage systems, labor, inventory, and service to hit targets and uphold standards
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with kitchen, coffee, and leadership to align on vision and execution
Refine & Elevate: Continuously improve the service and coffee programs, with an eye for detail and purpose
Own the Guest Experience: Ensure each guest encounter reflects BAMBAM values from open to close

Who You Are
You are a hospitality professional who:
Leads with heart, humility, and clear intention
Thinks critically and acts with integrity
Understands that leadership is service—not status
Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Balances emotional intelligence with operational focus
Pushes themselves and others toward growth, not comfort

What We Look For
We value people who demonstrate:
Humility & Respect: You lead by example and stay grounded
Empathy & Self-Awareness: You reflect, seek feedback, and use it
Optimism & Accountability: You stay solution-focused and own the outcome
Judgment & Common Sense: You make sound decisions under pressure
Curiosity & Drive: You are always learning and levelling up

Preferred Experience
2+ years in a leadership or management role (GM, AGM, or Floor Lead)
2+ years in specialty coffee or fast-paced, guest-focused cafés
Experience with scheduling, hiring, training, and team development
Strong understanding of labor control, inventory, and cost management

If you're ready to help lead our flagship that represents the future of hospitality in Canada and work alongside a team that cares deeply about what they do—we’d love to meet you.
