Job Description

The Blue Horizon seeks an energetic and enthusiastic Hotel Lobby Attendant to join our team. This is a seasonal position from May 1 to October 1, 2026.

We are well located in the heart of Robson Street with its wonderful variety of shops and eateries for every taste and budget. Our guests enjoy spectacular panoramic views of our beautiful city with the English Bay water view being the favourite.

We value delivering excellent guest service experiences, team work, a respectful workplace and consistent processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of the local area
• Understand the importance of your ability to making meaningful connections with guests, and to have a positive impact on their experience
• Able to multi-task, be efficient, respond quickly, make decisions
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provide warm welcome to all guests
• Assist guests with luggage
• Knowledgeably answer inquiries on hotel services, as well as attractions and services available in the area
• Maintain a clean and organized Lobby and hotel entrance area.
• Timely action on guest requests
• Maintain confidentiality of information
• Professional personal appearance
• Actively participate in maintaining a safe workplace
