Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar is currently seeking a Reservations Manager.
Our ideal candidate will be able to provide a sense of warmth and hospitality to our guests while balancing the organizational demands of the restaurant and mentoring our team of hosts.
Previous experience is required.
You must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities:
Answering the phone, fielding inquiries and relaying messages to the appropriate department
Take reservations over the phone, online platforms, or in-person
Managing the reservation book
Ability to recognize guests by name and remembering their preferences
Greeting and seating guests and generally being the welcoming face of the restaurant
Assist with providing a professional coat check service
Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming front-of-house experience
Understand the needs of wait staff to ensure sections are not overcrowded
Lead and train other hosts
Ability to make decisions and empower others
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
At least one year of previous work experience in a similar role
