Job Description

As our Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of all culinary operations, leading the kitchen team in delivering high-quality, seasonally inspired. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Head Chef will oversee food planning and preparation, team management, cost control, menu development, and kitchen administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Lead and mentor all kitchen staff, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving teams
• Oversee inventory, food and labor cost management
• Develop seasonal and event-based menus with a creativity
• Set up and stock cooking stations, ensuring readiness for each shift
• Prepare and cook dishes following recipes and presentation guidelines
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety
regulations
• Perform temperature and prep quality checks
• Direct new hire training and ongoing skill development
• Coordinate and execute meals for restaurant service, events, and banquets
• Liaise with front-of-house and events teams to ensure seamless service
• Take charge of ordering, inventory control, staff scheduling, food costing, and
kitchen documentation
• Represent the brand proudly at off-site events when required
• Ensure all opening and closing duties are completed to an exceptional standard

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience creating, costing, and executing seasonal menus
• Food Safe Certification (required)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Keen understanding of food cost control and sustainable kitchen practices
• Flexible availability — mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
