Dalina Cafe and Kitchen is looking for a prep/line cook to join our team.
Dalina is a community focused, fast-paced neighborhood café known for fresh, quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a dependable and energetic Prep/Line Cook to join our team. This job is starting as part-time but will quickly move to full time for a sucessful candidate.
As a Prep/Line Cook, you’ll help keep our kitchen running smoothly by prepping ingredients, assembling dishes during service, and keeping your station clean and organized. We’re looking for someone with a bit of kitchen experience and basic knife skills. You must be able to read a recipe and execute with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
* Prep ingredients according to recipes and café standards
* Assist with cooking and assembling menu items during service
* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
* Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
* At least 6 months of kitchen experience
* Basic knife skills and familiarity with prep techniques
* Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle rushes
* Availability on weekends and mornings preferred
