Job Description

Your Role

Your primary responsibility as a hostess at El Guapo is to manage guest flow and ensure every guest feels welcomed, informed, and cared for. You work closely with servers, bartenders, and management to keep service running smoothly, especially during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and professionally with a friendly, welcoming attitude
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists accurately
• Communicate wait times clearly and honestly
• Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections and table turns
• Coordinate closely with the floor manager and service team
• Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest questions
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and front entrance
• Assist guests with menus, special requests, and accessibility needs
• Monitor the dining room and anticipate seating and pacing needs
• Thank guests upon departure and invite them back
