We are seeking a responsible and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Coat Check and Cover for The Basement In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our coat check service. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide cover for various positions within our establishment when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they enter the premises.
- Collect and safely store customers' coats and personal belongings.
- Maintain an organized and secure coat check area.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly retrieving customers' belongings upon request.
- Accurately record and issue coat check tickets to ensure proper item retrieval.
- Handle cash transactions for coat check fees and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Monitor the coat check area to prevent loss or theft of customers' belongings.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the coat check area.
- Handle any customer inquiries or concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide cover for various positions within the establishment, such as hosting, serving, or bartending, as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to cover various positions within the establishment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
