Kissa Tanto is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Bartender to join our award-winning team. As a Bartender, you will play an essential role in delivering an exceptional beverage and hospitality experience that reflects the restaurant’s Michelin-starred standards. This position requires strong technical skills, refined service etiquette, and a commitment to teamwork.
You will work closely with the bar leadership, front-of-house team, and culinary staff to ensure seamless service, maintain operational excellence, and create memorable guest experiences.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $18 - $22
Average Weekly Tips: $800–$1,200
Key Responsibilities Bar Operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
Ensure par levels are consistently met for all bar supplies including liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, bar tools, garnishes, and service items.
Execute precise cocktail preparation and uphold quality standards for beer, wine, coffee, tea, and cocktails.
Assist with inventory counts and report low stock or discrepancies to bar leadership.
Support proper recycling, nightly cleaning procedures, and overall bar maintenance.
Monitor product quality and report any equipment or operational issues promptly.
Service & Guest Experience
Deliver warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests seated at the bar and in the dining room (as required).
Maintain thorough knowledge of the cocktail program, spirits, wine, beer, and menu offerings.
Communicate clearly and efficiently with the kitchen and service team throughout service.
Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
Recognize regulars and VIP guests to help create a personalized experience.
Execute efficient opening and closing procedures.
Team & Professional Development
Work collaboratively with the bar team and broader front-of-house staff to ensure smooth nightly operations.
Participate in staff trainings, tastings, and beverage education sessions.
Contribute ideas for improving workflow, service standards, and beverage offerings.
Uphold the restaurant’s standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and hospitality at all times.
Ideal Candidate
2+ years bartending experience in a fine dining or high-volume cocktail environment.
Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
Solid understanding of spirits, wine, and beer.
Calm and composed under pressure.
Professional, polished, and team-oriented.
Passion for hospitality and continuous learning.
